Makerere University School of Public Health-Resilient Africa Network (RAN) in partnership with Link Community Development, Uganda and the Resilience Research Centre (RRC) at Dalhousie University, Canada invite you for the launch of The Africa Regional Education Systems Resilience Observatory (ARESRO). This 28 month project is funded by the Global Partnership for Education Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (GPE KIX), a joint endeavour with the International Development Research Centre, Canada. The ARESRO project aims to establish an observatory on Education System Resilience across Sub-saharan Africa and will provide GPE partner countries in Sub-saharan Africa collated contextual evidence to strengthen the resilience of their education systems, explore stakeholders' practice and understanding of education system resilience, and better prepare for future disruptions. ARESRO is one of the six regional observatories awarded under the GPE KIX Observatory on Education System Resilience Initiative globally. The online launch will take place on Tuesday, 25th February, 2025.
