The World Medical Association's Medical Technology Workgroup is holding a series of webinars on artificial intelligence in healthcare, scheduled to run from January to May 2025. This five-part programme, co-moderated by Dr. Jesse Ehrenfeld (American Medical Association) and Dr. Jacob Mathew (Kuwait Medical Association), aims to provide educational opportunities for WMA members. The first webinar in the series, which took place on 30 January, introduced the subject of artificial intelligence in medicine. A recording of the webinar is available to view on the WMA's YouTube channel. The second webinar will focus on the ethics, legal and regulatory aspects of AI in healthcare with the keynote contribution of Professor Barry Solaiman, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Assistant Professor specialising in Healthcare Law at HBKU’s College of Law, Qatar.
