MORE ABOUT Christina Kortz:
Christina is a gallery guide and art instructor at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Originally from New York City. In her 20s she moved to San Francisco where she studied dance and art. When in New York and San Franciso she worked as a Fashion Stylist for clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Macys. After moving to Santa Fe, Christina taught in a private elementary school as an art teacher and administrator. She started working at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in 2000 as the Education Coordinator and Family Program Manager. She left the Museum in 2012 to pursue her illustration and dance careers. She was rehired, by the Museum, in 2018, as a Gallery Guide. Leaving in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic and gratefully rehired in 2021. Christina is also a product designer for the Museum Shop and has designed the Museum's school activity guides. She feels grateful to have such a long relationship with the Museum and with the life of Miss O'Keeffe.
