The Science of Advocacy: Part 2-Unbiased Assessment
Critical thinking is rapidly becoming an essential skill for success in today’s workplace. Although it comes naturally for some, critical thinking is an ability that anyone can learn and practice. Critical thinking is the ability to think reflectively and independently to make thoughtful decisions. This program will build upon “The Science of Advocacy: Part 1” by providing you with tools to challenge implicit bias in your work with survivors. You will be guided through the process of how to effectively listen and practice the elements of screening in order to analyze and assess an individual’s situation regardless of the identities they hold.
