- how the structure of its current Chief and Council came to be under historical versions of the Indian Act
- how the rules differ between the Indian Act, First Nations Election Act, and options Nations may choose to adopt under their own laws
- the legal requirements for the development and approval of a Custom Election Law to ensure courts respect and treat SȾÁUTW̱'s new Custom Election Law as binding and enforceable
- the work plan that SȾÁUTW̱ is committed to in its development of a Custom Election Law, which will remove SȾÁUTW̱ from being under the colonial rules of the Indian Act when it comes to: Leadership selection, Structure of Council, Eligibility to be on Council, Council Duties, and its Accountability to Membership.
