The Bringing the Farm to School Agricultural Producers Training Program: Mountain Plains Regional Facilitator Workshop is designed to equip state agencies with the know-how and resources to plan and present the Bringing the Farm to School Agricultural Producers Training Program to producers in their state. Bringing the Farm to School is a curriculum designed to build the capacity of agricultural producers to launch or expand efforts to market to schools. The program supports a wide variety of agricultural producers, including farmers, fishers, ranchers, food processors, and other local food businesses.
Who: The Mountain Plains Regional Facilitator Workshop should be attended by 3-5 attendees from each state who plan to lead state producer trainings. These members should include partners with diverse expertise areas, including state agency representatives, agricultural extension educators or agents, producer support organization staff, and state farm to school staff.
