Much like any business, counties need insurance coverage for those times they find themselves being sued or with damage or loss to county-owned property. There are various types of coverage available and the specifics of a claim or lawsuit dictates the type of coverage, or policy, that will be triggered. Derek Bryan from the Washington Counties Risk Pool will give a high-level overview of those types of coverage and the types of claims or lawsuits that fall within them.
