Tai Chi – Beginners’ Progression
Learn the ancient Chinese martial art practice of tai chi, often described as “meditation in motion”. Embrace your mind, body, and spirit to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health with experienced instructor and retired speech-language pathologist, Kris Jensen. Tai chi is considered both an art form and low-impact, slow motion exercise that has growing evidence of health benefits for people with Parkinson’s.

Although this class is geared towards those who have completed the Tai Chi for Beginners series, those without prior experience are welcome to participate. Participants will be led through the first 15 moves learned in the Beginners series, and will build on these. We welcome all individuals with Parkinson’s to this webinar as well as their spouses and/or carepartners/caregivers.
