Firearms Siezure: Best Practices

Seizing firearms as part of a domestic violence arrest, or pursuant to a risk warrant, order of protection, or as evidence is a critical step to protecting victims and law enforcement. In this class, you will cover the new Risk Warrant Investigation process, statutory requirements, and best practices recommended by the special licensing and firearms unit. Each participant will receive a complete PowerPoint to use in the training of their staff or for personal review.

This training is free of charge to attend but you must be registered. If after registering you cannot attend, please contact the Director of training at training@ctcadv.org. If you do not cancel or do not attend, you will be charged a "no show" fee of $25.00.
