IJBC-IJL Special Lecture Series

The special lectures series by IJBC and IJL commemorate the 70th Anniversary of India-Japan diplomatic relations. In 2022, India and Japan will mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. The Indo-Japan Business Council (IJBC) and India Japan Laboratories (IJL) will host special lectures series on various facets of the India-Japan relationship to commemorate this.

Session 3: Business and innovation opportunities
25th June 2022 at 4 pm IST (7:30 pm JST)

While India is today emerging as a global hub for manufacturing and innovation and promoting ease of business with the flagship programmes like Digital India, Smart City, and Startup India, the ‘Society 5.0’ initiative of Japan is further providing an extensive scope of collaboration in different sectors. Taking account of the various stakeholder groups involved (like business associations/trade bodies, governments, startups), this session will explore the promising avenues of business and innovation, which can significantly complement the expanding bilateral trade relations between India and Japan.
