Pregnancy and Intimate Partner Violence: Screening & Interventions for Health and Community Providers

Pregnancy and postpartum can be an incredibly stressful time for any individual. When individuals are also dealing with intimate partner violence there are significant health consequences for the birthing parent and the child. This training will discuss the significant need to increase IPV education within the pre and post natal period. Resources and supports to address this topic and reduce maternal mortality will be discussed.
