Breaking the Cycle: Animal Abuse and Human Violence
Research has shown the link between humans and animals can be life-changing and in some cases, life-saving. This training provides participants with an understanding about domestic violence, as well as
- how human violence and abuse towards animals are connected
- how you can use a simple screening tool to determine if someone is experiencing
- resources available to victims of domestic violence and their pets

Training is led by Rose Brooks Center Staff – Kendyl Clark, Pet Advocacy Manager

This training provides:
- 1.5 Continuing Education contact hours, approved by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board
- 1.5 Continuing Education contact hours, in accordance with MO State Committee for Social Workers standards
- 1.5 Continuing Legal Education contact hours, approved by the Missouri Bar
