Wisconsin Libraries Talk About Race 2022
A Statewide Discussion: Understanding Why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Matter in Majority White Spaces
This discussion is part of the Wisconsin Libraries Talk About Race project.

Library workers statewide received a primer on this topic during the webinar “Understanding Why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Matter in Majority White Spaces,” which took place at 1pm on April 14, 2022.

Questions from participants will serve as the starting point for the discussions, and participants will be encouraged to share personal experiences/thoughts, both relating to the webinar and to their lives, for others to reflect on in a non-judgmental way. There will be a maximum of 10 participants from public libraries throughout the state. Discussions will be facilitated by colleagues who recently completed a Facilitation Training through the Wisconsin Libraries Talk About Race project.
