When students need job search skills that leads to job search behavior !
Job search behavior of CTE students is a defining trait that separates CTE students from traditional students. As educators and administrators, we strive to increase school to work transition and ensure students graduate with viable and gainful employment. But do we focus enough on job search behavior while students are learning? When should we focus on job search behavior? New psychological research that shows we, as a CTE community, could be starting the job search process too late. Identify areas of opportunity to infuse career implementation into learning, measure job search behavior throughout a student's CTE experience and identify actionable results that build credibility within your CTE programs and schools.
