The Meaning of Home: Owning our Stories in our Housing Advocacy

What is the meaning of home and how do we tap into our own stories to both build community and help drive our advocacy around housing?

Our lived experiences in housing are just as important as the technical experience we bring to our housing advocacy.

A home is so much more than a physical place- a home provides refuge, stability, the facilitation of connection and access to opportunities. In this social creative arts event, participants will explore what home means to them through creative writing/arts prompts.

Participants will hone and share their stories of home as it relates to their activism and also leave with resources/tools to bring arts as activism techniques into their own activism and pro-housing group.
