15 March Toolkit Launch: How-to guide to develop communication campaigns to stimulate reporting of medicine use in pregnancy & breastfeeding

How can we stimulate reporting of medicine use in pregnancy & breastfeeding? On 15 March, the ConcePTION project is launching a toolkit with a step-by-step guide for developing communications campaigns to stimulate reporting of medicine use during pregnancy and breastfeeding! We provide hands-on guidance for TIS-centres, health authorities and other stakeholders to support them in setting up their local, tailored campaigns.

Data on medicine exposure in pregnancy and breastfeeding is collected in different ways in different European countries, via health authorities, TIS-centers (Teratology Information Services), and pharma companies, all with varying degrees of resources and know-how. The ConcePTION toolkit offers a stepwise approach to develop targeted communication campaigns and materials for different audiences and tailored to the local context. The toolkit was developed with the support of communication professionals in the ConcePTION project and builds on the experience from pilot campaigns in the Netherlands (LAREB) and United Kingdom (UKTIS). The toolkit will allow organisations with limited resources to design communication campaigns, based on good practice!

The toolkit offers guides to identifying audiences, selecting channels, develop messaging and overall campaign design. We offer toolboxes with everything you need to consider when using different social media channels, including adaptable templates for social media graphics. The toolkit also includes adaptable templates for leaflets and posters. All meant to be tailored to your local context and languages.
