Explore Flamenco with Film, Storytelling & Movement with Angelina Ramirez
Join JFCS Center for Senior Enrichment and Angelia Ramirez for Explore Flamenco with Film, Storytelling & Movement. In this 45 minute weekly class, we will learn about prominent flamenco dancers and history through film, photography, dance and discussions. Participants will learn basic flamenco techniques. Using the TimeSlips method together we will create stories through movement and rhythm. Dance techniques will be modified for both sitting or standing.
No previous dance experience required.

ABOUT ANGELINA RAMIREZ
Angelina Ramirez is a Tucson-based flamenco artist. She is the founder of Flamenco Por La Vida in Phoenix, Arizona. Along with performing and teaching, Angelina produces two festivals in Arizona, Lluvia Flamenca and The Phoenix Festival de España. Angelina has toured with world-renowned, New York-based company Noche Flamenca.
