Express Yourself in Writing

“Express Yourself in Writing” Series is a 4-session series in which participants compare, analyze and discuss tools and strategies for students to express themselves from emerging writer skills through more fluent writers. These classes will be structured in an interactive format with 30 minutes of content presentation followed by small group discussion and then implementation planning time. The goal is to leave with 1 or 2 implementation strategies for each session.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will compare and analyze tools and strategies for students to express themselves

Participants will share their own experiences with writers at various writing levels

Participants will implement at least one new tool or strategy with a student they work with who is struggling with writing
