IFA Global Café | In Conversation With: Prof. Ross Upshur
Aligned with the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing it is both inspiring and important to learn more about social justice through the lens of frailty, long-term care and climate change.

The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) has pledged to view all workstreams through the lens of the four action areas of the Decade and in doing so purposefully reaches out across sectors and disciplines toward the development of common agenda that helps to influence and shape age-related human-centred policy. Now is the time to assess health and social care systems to improve the lives of older people.

Of specific interest is the moral and ethical imperatives in an era of ageism – showing that public health ethics has the potential to become a flagstaff for change in long-term care. Therefore, please join us in discussing "From COVID-19 to Climate Change: Can public health ethics aid in a more equitable inclusion of older adults?" with our key expert for this upcoming session, Prof. Ross Upshur.
