On-boarding is a process of orienting new employees to the company. Typically, orientation usually consists of a series of meetings where new employees learns more about their responsibilities. They are introduced to the various systems that the company uses for matters such as security, payroll etc. It also provides time for new employees to formally meet other members of the team and to develop an understanding of the organizational structures of the company.
