NONPROFITS FISCAL SPONSORSHIP: FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS FOR NONPROFITS

Fiscal sponsorship provides an alternative path for nonprofits to engage in their mission and programming and enjoy the benefits of tax-deductible donations, without obtaining their own 501(c)(3) recognition. But the steps along this path need to be taken correctly. This workshop will introduce participants to the pros and cons of fiscal sponsorship. It will also cover the legal basics of a fiscal sponsorship relationship, factors to consider when structuring and negotiating a fiscal sponsorship agreement, and tips on how to find the right fiscal sponsor, or how to be a fiscal sponsor.
