OEWG13 Preparation Meeting

We are pleased to invite you to a preparatory workshop on Zoom, in anticipation of the 13th Session of the Open-ended Working Group on Ageing (OEWG13), which is scheduled to take place in New York from 3-6 April 2023.

The workshop is scheduled for 9 March 2023, from 07:00-08:30 EST, which is three weeks prior to the OEWG13 meeting. This workshop is open to all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) who are interested in following the proceedings of the OEWG13, irrespective of GAROP membership or accreditation.

The primary objectives of the meeting are to establish a common understanding of the current status of the OEWGA and HRC processes, discuss shared goals for the outcomes of OEWG13, and agree on preparation and collective action that NGOs and NHRIs can take from now up to and through the OEWG13 session.
