Stop accommodation centres! Online rally

The recent announcement of a new asylum accommodation centre on the site of a former RAF base in Linton-on-Ouse is part of the UK Government's deeply concerning plans to warehouse people seeking asylum in 'accommodation centres' like these across the country.

If these sites are allowed to go ahead, people seeking sanctuary will find themselves isolated in prison-like conditions without adequate advice, healthcare, or support. These facilities will segregate and re-traumatise people and have been planned with no consideration of the needs of local communities or people seeking asylum.

Join us for a rally to say 'no' to the planned site in Linton, and all accommodation centres, and stand together to ensure that the Government gets the message that there is one safe place to house people seeking safety - in communities that are equipped to welcome them.
