RETHINK: Caring for the Caregiver
This series of four one-hour workshops is aimed at people with caring responsibilities, who are also in work. The sessions will provide recommendations on dealing with caregiver stress and burnout.

Caregiver stress can be particularly damaging, since it is typically a chronic, long-term challenge. This workshop will give people with caring responsibilities the tools and tips to reduce this stress.

Many people have responsibilities for other people, and sometimes this duty can become extremely stressful and demanding. This ‘Caring for the Carer’ four-week series of workshops, part of the #RETHINK programme and facilitated by Wellness Coach Anne Costello, will help carers to take care of themselves, in order to provide effective care to others.

The series will support carers to:

- Strengthen focus, memory, and increase mental flexibility
Build resilience in times of stress, to support the ability to be present for themselves and others.
- Shift self-defeating habits and thoughts and work with difficult emotions, without getting overwhelmed
- Cultivate patience and self-compassion whilst developing empathy and effective communication with others
