Autism Parent Education Program (APEP) Orientation (1hr) and Registration takes 7-10mnts (Test line)

Dear Parent:

The Autism Parent Education Program welcomes you. We are looking forward to working with you. Our main objective is to provide you with a quality training model that will assist you in understanding the Autism Spectrum Disorder, related services, and existing intervention models. Fiesta Educativa, Inc. considers parents to be a valuable asset. We encourage your participation and input in this intensive 4 week training module.

We have created this “Welcome Packet” to provide you with needed materials to be able to participate in APEP. This packet contains the following information and documents that will be reviewed and completed prior to beginning the first training class:

● Purpose of APEP
● Curriculum Descriptions
● Parent “ground rules” and Attendance Policy
● Parent Participation Contract Form
● Confidentiality Form
● Preliminary Self Assessment Form
● Behavior Essay
● Exit Self Assessment Form (To be completed at the end of the program)
● Nondiscrimination Policy, Sexual Harassment Policy, Grievance Policy

You will be expected to attend all sessions and stay for the duration of the time scheduled. Included in this package are the specific dates and times you are to attend each time. Children are not allowed in the class, thus you must make childcare arrangements. Fiesta Educativa, Inc. has placed careful planning to ensure that the day and hour is a comfortable time for you. Transportation will not be provided by APEP. You must make your own arrangements.
