Jane Przeslica returns to the Center for Senior Enrichment for a 6 month presentation series.

Below are the dates and times of programs scheduled.

November 24 at 1pm: THANKSGIVING AND THE PERSPECTIVE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF AMERICA

December 23 at 11am: THE INFLUENCE OF TRADING POSTS ON THE ART OF THE SOUTHWEST

January 20 at 11am: ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS NON-INDIANS ASK ABOUT AMERICAN INDIANS

February 17 at 11am: AMERICA’S FIRST REVOLUTION: The Pueblo Revolt of 1680

March 17 at 11am: THE HOHOKAM PEOPLE AND THEIR DESCENDANTS

April 21 at 11am: YOEME: THE PEOPLE

Jane taught in the Gilbert Public School District for 14 years. She holds a master’s degree from Arizona State University and an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.

Prior to working in education, Jane held the position of Corporate Account Executive with Procter & Gamble.

Jane has volunteered for the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, for seven years. She has recorded over 3,500 volunteer hours. Through her contact with visitors, Jane acts as a Heard Museum ambassador by promoting, interpreting, and advancing American Indian Art in the Southwest. She is in her second year of serving on the Heard Museum Guild Board, as President of the 400 volunteer members.
