Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Analyze Racialized Identities and Bias in School Improvement Efforts
Participants will be invited to investigate the impact of micro-aggressive culture on school communities, to analyze and confront challenges to “race talk” in schools, to conduct a deep dive into the tenets of culturally responsive-sustaining pedagogy, to engage with theoretical frameworks, and develop greater levels of critical consciousness, and to foster a “brave space” for interrogation and learning as a community.
