The Vaccination Outreach for Hawai‘i Students Project is offering mini-grants to empower students, adult allies, and community-based organizations in Hawai‘i to conduct activities that will increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations, information, and resources. Small teams and groups are encouraged to submit an application for innovative activities that serve students aged 12-18 years old and their families. Grants ranging from $100-$2,000 will be awarded for activities that will take place until November 29, 2021. The project is funded by the Public Goods Project and is organized in partnership with the Hawai'i Afterschool Alliance and the Hawai'i Public Health Institute.
This informational session will provide an overview of the mini-grant application, timeline, and resources. The session will also be an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and gain inspiration on different types of activities that students, adult allies, and community-based organizations could do in their communities.
