August Series' health promotion discussion is dedicated to nutrition and psychological health. Is there a connection? Most health experts say, "Yes."
Eat Well Cooking Club is created for health conscious people who are seeking healthier strategies to increase their knowledge and optimize health, explore healthy food options, receive recipes of good tasting meals for the soul, an opportunity to cook with Nutritionist, Cooking Coach and Culinary Instructor and share information and experiences with others each week.
The classes are co-facilitated by Dale Cain, Program Director (Nutritionist and Plant-Based Nutrition Movement Cooking Coach), Karen Coruthers, Nutritionist and a Guest Culinary Instructor, Karen Crawford-Moore.
This month we are featuring Southern Cuisine, A Little Twist to Your Grandma's Recipes.
Thursdays, August 12, 19 & 26 from 11 am - 12 pm
Each week this dynamic team will walk you through the nutrition factors of fueling your body and the health benefits of plant-based nutrition as well as tips from a chef on how to improve your cooking and knives skills and put the "WOW" factor in your meal presentations to family and friends.
Join the community of family, friends, neighbors and colleagues of good food, fun, cooking and learning new things about food, nutrition and how it impacts your health.
