The Poetic Genius of Heraclitus
Hail to Heraclitus! For some strange reason, I have been gnawed at by the question of how one can change their life. This question naturally brought to the wisdom of the Greek philosopher Heraclitus (c. 535 - c. 475 BC), by way of this quote, "No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river, and he's not the same man." Although little is known of his life, his ideas significantly influenced the Stoics and live on today.
