Experience sharing with Dr Olena Motuzenko on gastro-tourism “Academia, civil society and local communities – united to keep knowledge alive”
During this one-hour open meeting, Dr Olena Motuzenko will share her experience and story about the recently launched Atlas of 85 Ukrainian products of cultural value at Terra Madre and the process and participatory methodology behind this work. The project joins various stakeholders: Slow Food network leaders from Kyiv and Lviv, Ukrainian and Italian academia, but also local communities in 7 regions of Ukraine, with whom Dr Olena Motuzenko has been working to help show value and reconstruct the knowledge of traditional farming practices linked to local food culture and gastronomy.

This meeting is organised within the 'Network of Network' of European organisations working on agroecology. An initiative created within the Horizon project Agroecology for Europe (AE4EU) and participating organisations Eco Ruralis, Gradina Moldovei, Slow Food, and Wageningen University.
