Value Break: Restructuring Staffing Models to Value the Workforce
January 13 | 2-2:30 p.m. ET | 1-1:30 p.m. CT

During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals have been challenged to provide care for many more patients while working to keep their teams safe and healthy. In the midst of a growing workforce shortage, compounded by the ongoing toll the pandemic has taken on all, health care teams innovated to deliver care to their communities. In this Value Break, clinical leaders from Atrium Health and Yale New Haven Hospital will share their redesigned staffing structures, the need for them since COVID-19, and when sustained, the impact it has on patient outcomes and experience, and ultimately cost.

Value Breaks are designed to be short sessions on relevant topics, i.e., modern day break room discussions. Participants are encouraged to turn on their cameras and join the conversation.

This event is for AHA members only.
