In southeast Massachusetts on the traditional territory of the Wampanoag, a rare pine barren forest is being clear-cut for solar installations. Mass Peace Action supports massive solar expansion for climate but not through the destruction of ancient and sacred pine forests. This webinar includes perspectives of Indigenous stewards of the land, environmentalists, and citizens working on biodiversity. This is an important forum for all of Massachusetts.
