Rehab From the Inside Out: A Pelvic Health Primer for Pregnancy, Postpartum and Beyond
Mommy Monitor invites you to join Andrea Meade PT, Registered Physiotherapist, on Tues November 9th at 1:30pm for an interactive session on pelvic floor health!

Participants will gain a fresh perspective on how to manage - not ignore - common aches and pains of pregnancy. Participants will be invited to ask questions and share experiences while learning key basics about managing common pregnancy/postpartum concerns including urinary incontinence (bladder leakage), pelvic girdle pain, and diastasis rectus abdominis (abdominal separation). Participants will be guided to ‘try on’ basic postures, positions and exercises that help to promote healthy bladder, bowel and abdominal function. By the end of the session, participants will know typical signs and symptoms that would trigger a referral to physiotherapy, and helpful hints for prevention.
