OneJustice is pleased to announce our 2024 Nonprofit 101 Workshop Series for Legal Aid Staff. These interactive workshops include a special focus on basic core principles of nonprofit management that staffers at all levels of the organizations can benefit from. All session times are from 12 to 1:30 p.m. August 7th Strategic Planning Preparation 101: Strategic Planning for organizations has to start somewhere. This training modules will teach the basics of how to begin that presentation from finding the correct consultants, prepping staff, as well as setting realistic expectations for you and your Board of Directors. August 14th Project Management Through a DEI Lens: Project Management through a DEI lens will teach staffers from across your organizations the basics of not only project management but how you can incorporate DEI principles into your program management style and goals. August 21st: Board Governance Basics: It can often be confusing to navigate the relationship between senior managers and the Board of Directors. This training module will help you understand the roles of the board, how to present these roles to your own Board of Directors, and finally the best practices for both Board of Directors and the senior managers who work with them.
