Countering Hate & Bias is a professional learning community interactive workshop series designed as an informational support network for educators who want to create identity affirming classrooms.

Countering Antisemitism and Hate in the Classroom: Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life documents Pittsburgh's powerful community response to hate in the aftermath of the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history.

Teachers who complete the series of workshops (4 sessions) will receive a certificate of professional development.

Presenters: Mary Sok and Jamie Lott-Jones
Credentials: Educators Watchung Hills Regional High School; Professors at Kean University; Executive Board Members for the Diversity Council for Global Education and Citizenship

Workshops will be limited to 50 participants and run for 1 to 1.5 hours in length
