This OEA member-facilitated webinar explores what Restorative Practices look like in action. Amber will provide an introduction to the elements on the Continuum, based on the work of the International Institute of Restorative Practices. Explanations and examples of the essential components, ranging from informal to formal practice that build a restorative culture including affective language, circles, and conferencing will be provided. There will also be resources and opportunities to reflect on implementation in participants' own context. The session is best suited for educators in K-12 environments although some content will be addressing staff relationships and that latter content is applicable for educators at all levels.
Closed captions will be provided. One PDU is available for live attendance or viewing the recording (recording is only available to OEA members).
