The Department of Mental Health (DMH) has partnered with the Peer Workforce Development Initiative (PWDI) to identify a model and develop and implementation plan for peer specialist credentialing in Vermont.
PWDI has retained Wilda L. White Consulting to facilitate six meetings to solicit community input about designing a mental health peer support worker certification program in the State of Vermont. Each of the six meetings will address a unique topic related to developing a statewide peer support specialist certification program.
Those unable to attend meetings will have the opportunity to watch a video recording of the meeting and complete a survey.
Recommendations from these meetings will be used to implement a mental health peer certification program in the State of Vermont.
