Making the switch to GA4
The American Press Institute's Product Strategy team is here to ensure that your transition from Google Universal Analytics (GUA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is successful and that you're capturing the data that is most useful to your newsroom. So, we're hosting a series of workshops designed to help you make this change well before the July 1 deadline.

The first workshop on March 17 will focus on using Google Tag Manager, which is how we recommend setting up your GA4 instance and track key events. We'll also explain the general differences between GA4 and Universal Analytics.

The second workshop, on March 24, will explain further how to set up key events to focus on tracking subscribers, members, and general visitors who make up your audiences. We'll also talk about how to set up useful reports in GA4.
