Date: Thursday 9th February 2023
For: Trust leaders in executive roles, typically those leading teacher development across the trust
Chris Moyse will present a compelling argument for the removal of performance management and a case for an alternative that focuses on an individual’s professional growth yet is aligned with organisational priorities.
You will also hear about a short case study from Kat Howard, who will share key principles and considerations to support colleagues reviewing their existing in-school model for performance management, and who are keen to incorporate continual development of practise and teacher autonomy as integral to their approach.
We’ll then hear from a panel of Chris Moyse, Christalla Jamil FCCT and Tom Manthorpe, who will share their perspective on what effective performance management (or performance ‘development’) might look like – there will be the opportunity to pose questions and share reflections with panellists.
One space is available per trust, please register here to secure a place for yourself or a trust colleague.
If you have a second colleague who would be particularly keen to attend, please let us know and if we have any spaces available we will be able to extend them an invitation.
