Our lunch and learn this month will focus on the results of a recent statewide poll commissioned by Michigan's Children and The Skillman Foundation focused on voter attitudes toward public funding. Querying 800 statewide voters, the poll found strong support across all geographic and demographics for greater public funding for programs that help children and youth thrive. High on their list of areas for improved funding? Career exposure (Jobs and skills training), mental health, preventing youth involvement in the criminal justice system, afterschool programs, child care and early childhood. Come explore the results with us and take away how you can use the poll in your advocacy articulations to support your priority areas.
