RARE Compassion Program 2023 Informational Session
Join us to learn about the RARE Compassion Program - a unique opportunity for students and practicing healthcare professionals to learn about life with a rare disease from patients and their families experiencing a rare diagnosis. During the eight month program, students meet virtually with multiple patient and family partners, helping to foster meaningful doctor-patient relationships, inspire careers in rare disease care and research, and ultimately, through patient-centric listening and interactions, build the next generation of future medical professionals as key advocates for their patients. The program culminates in an opportunity for students who have successfully completed the program to submit an essay on their experience for a chance to win a scholarship.
