NCMPL Colloquium #2: "Reflect, Rejuvenate, and Re-New: Finding a Fresh Perspective for a New Year"

As we come to the end of the 21-22 school year, many of us are tired. We have spent the last couple of years working through unexpected challenges only to find that we need to pivot once again to address additional changes that could impact our music programs. Now is the perfect time to take a few minutes, hit the pause button, catch our breath, and remind ourselves why we do what we do.

Join Martha Gabel, Southwestern Division Representative on the NAfME Council of Music Program Leaders to reflect on the lessons we have learned over this past year and identify positive ways that we can use those experiences to re-energize and move forward to a fresh beginning in the fall of 2022. Topics will include proactive and strategic planning, building staff morale, supporting enrollment rebound, investing in program growth, and identifying ways that we can continue to support one another through any changes and challenges that the future might hold.
