Emergency Placement Training

This training will discuss new requirements and best practices for resource parents interested in providing emergency foster care. Our current Emergency Placement Social Workers will review and answer questions about the procedures of the Aldea Emergency Placement program. We will also discuss trauma signs and tips on how to deescalate crisis situations. Case scenarios will be used as examples, with plenty of time for discussion and problem-solving situations that may have come up in the participants’ experience.
