CDC Training: Ethics and RRI Dimensions of Knowledge Transfer and Commercialisation
This module is co-developed with the HBP Innovation Team and will introduce practical aspects of knowledge and technology transfer, including identification of the ethics and responsible research and innovation (RRI) dimensions of the exploitation and commercialization of research findings. The module combines short lectures with interactive exercises. Participants will learn to develop stakeholder maps and to design a stakeholder engagement exercise, which will help them to align the exploitation of their work with the needs, expectations and concerns of key actors, including collaborators, future users and societal stakeholders. The module is designed for researchers, staff and managers from the HBP and EBRAINS, including PhD students and postdocs, as well as partners from industry and other projects and universities. Participants will learn to apply insights from the module to their work and to develop a strategy and plan to respond to identified issues and to address these in the context of future planning and decision making.
