The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a work relief program that gave millions of young men employment on civil and environmental projects during the Great Depression. This panel discussion will focus on CCC camps in the Tug Hill region, oral history with camp member Herbert Thorpe, and conclude with a presentation about current Student Conservation Association and Excelsior Conservation Corps projects.
