CFH Training with National Network of Public Health Institutes

Climate change is accelerating, with growing impacts on human health. Public concern is also increasing, and solutions are at hand. Health professionals are trusted messengers that can help their community, peers, and policymakers turn concern into action.

NNPHI and ecoAmerica are partnering to offer the Climate for Health Ambassadors Training Program. This free, interactive training will cover the links between climate and health, the spectrum of solutions, how to effectively communicate on the topic, and ways to act and advocate for climate solutions that improve our health.

Upon completion of the full training and signing the Climate for Health Ambassadors Agreement (optional), attendees will be given Climate for Health Ambassador designation. Find out more: bit.ly/CfHAgreement. These leaders will be invited to be listed publicly as trained leaders who are available to present on climate and health.

Introduction, Climate Change Overview, Climate Impacts on Health, Climate Solutions and Just Transition, Climate Communications, Let's Talk Health & Climate Guidance, Advocacy and Engagement

This meeting will be recorded via Zoom and the links for the recorded meeting will be provided to all who register. Individuals interested in becoming Climate for Health Ambassadors must attend and/or watch (either live or recorded) the webinar and then sign the agreement.
