Fire Protection and Life Safety

An introduction to the requirements of 29 CFR 1910, Subpart L Fire Protection and Subpart E Means of Egress will be covered. Topics include Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and NFPA 101 Life Safety Codes. Details of the chemistry of fire, means of egress, detection and alarm systems, fire brigades, and emergency action and fire prevention plans will be discussed.
