Agree that the priority should be amenity for local people but is there any reason why it shouldn't also be a space that tourists could enjoy especially since the centre of town is so busy with few places eg to have a sandwich lunch?

a bit of accessible green space for visitors with a few canopies for the odd wet day would be a step forward!

1) Changing rooms will still be required (Cricket and Rugby keen to play and practice)2) Power and cost of energy to the existing hall is very prohibitive in terms of operation. This needs to be considered as there needs to be revenue generation to sustain it’s operation.3) Removal of car park may cause future issues as it is a school drop off point4) Outdoor events very close to the new flats may not sit well with licensing.Great to see some progress!! Good work keep it up.Only other point that is that as the green field space is a King George the V park it is possible to have this retained in perpetuity for sports and recreation is this in the plan it is important to protect these green space assetsAgree with Lorna on space

Only other thought Ive had was the loss of the squash court? This is still a big miss could this be brought back? There was an agreement when it was turned into a carpark?

Is there any chance of getting the soft play area up and running asap anywhere in the plan as it’s in storage and is really needed especially with the poor weather we have had recently?
