01:12:04
It is our understanding that the most recent application was to stay open until 5am

01:12:29
Please confirm if a new application will be made to stay open until 2:30am only.

01:12:48
And please confirm current operating hours

01:14:53
No need to apologise for an accent!

01:15:26
The concerns are trash, indirect contributions to safety issues currently happening, and direct contribution to public urination and defecation issues that are ongoing.

01:19:46
Thanks for the insight. Establishments with a liquor license are able to stay open until when currently?

01:20:10
2:00am

01:20:32
Thank you

01:26:37
Why are the establishments that are most likely to contribute to many of the problems we have been discussing allowed to stay open late?

01:27:10
Agree with Beejan - why can businesses that serve alcohol stay open til 2AM, but those that do not must close at 12?

01:27:57
He is asking an excellent question

01:28:47
It has to do with the license, but I think the main safety issue is those that bring their own alcohol and party in the street.

01:31:00
No doubt the main problem is alcohol and partying. I live on the square and see many people bringing their own alcohol, AND enter and exit bars until 2am, as that is the only type of establishment conducive to bringing your own liquor and jumping in and out of a business

01:32:22
Even then, the majority of people I see out late at night, or urinating on my front steps, are not carrying alcohol, but are drunk it seems

01:35:52
Did you say the Mayor AND the Governor?

01:36:11
Mayor and Police Commisioner

01:36:33
why don't they start by giving citations to people with open alcoholic beverages. That's the reason they come down to Fells, is because they can openly drink in public

01:37:02
Zeke was also there.

01:37:18
(Asked the Mayor for the meeting)

01:38:00
Liquors board, DOT, as well

01:46:04
Congrats Ginny!

01:47:10
Question for anyone who can answer: What entity do you notify if a restaurant in the square is playing music outdoors loudly late into the night? Thank you

01:48:51
Thank you

01:55:53
They need a permit. If you believe they don’t have a permit, we can follow up with them

01:56:01
(Special events permit)

01:56:34
Thanks Kate -
